A suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is a legal requirement for most non-domestic premises and the common parts of buildings containing two or more domestic premises.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Responsible Person must identify the fire hazards within the premises, consider the people who may be at risk and ensure that appropriate fire safety precautions are provided and maintained.
Our experienced fire risk assessor will inspect your premises and consider the relevant fire safety arrangements, including means of escape, fire detection and warning systems, emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, fire doors, signage and fire safety management procedures.
Following the assessment, you will receive a written report recording the findings and identifying any improvements that may be required. Recommendations will be clearly explained and prioritised, helping you understand what action should be taken to improve fire safety and maintain compliance.
Fire risk assessments should be reviewed regularly and whenever there are significant changes to the premises, its use, occupancy, layout or fire safety arrangements.
